Secret message answer series :D

Secret Message Question 1: big question so break panni question parts ai highlight panniruken

Is Diana Rose Yudhi?

But it just is difficult to accept yudhi as hero after his fb posts about roohi

Hard to understand he did all this just for grabbing her attention and because of his attraction towards her or even may be he couldn't accept someone in roohis position writing romance stories ?

On top of it Roohi loving him shows her in even more weak light May be their falling in love part needed a little detailing Its like very sudden May be it will come in further episodes I don't know

If this is what you feel, I respect that. I thank you for letting me know. Now let’s move on to the main part of the question.

Why are only the ilakkiyavadhigal to be blamed?

First of all, I haven’t blamed ilakkiyavadhis. This story is about a popular group and how humans act when their ecosystem is threatened. It can be applied to any similar structure, be it political parties, female writers, etc. People will immediately turn into mindless zombies. And it will take some time for them to reflect and realize. This is what happened to Yudhi’s group. They look down at romance novel writers in general. Not just ilakkiyavadhis, most of the literary world do that to us and it’s a global fact, not something which happens only to Tamil writers.

And ilakkiyavadhigal have been shown as people with superiority complex fine But what about the romance writers writing cheap romance under family novels label It was just mentioned lightly.

Not just cheap romance many stories lack a good premise or even a good plot for that matter just hero and heroine romancing or trying to consummate Its difficult to criticise just the art and not the artists specially if all their creations are the same Not everything is for value addition but in the name of entertainment writers cant spoil a readers mind Okay this is partly the readers fault too/ But readers or the romance writers faults arent highlighted.

I think I am going to offend you by answering this question. However, for the sake of people who may have the same question in mind, I am going to answer. This doesn't have a simple answer.

Is it possible for readers to read those books without their knowledge? Who am I to criticize what grown individuals choose to do?  athellam family novel category la varrathu thane unga pb? family novel ngra tag e thappu nu naan solren.

What do you mean by ‘family friendly’"? How do we define it? Who gets to define a family? Family is a subjective concept and it completely depends on the individual in question. If an LGBTQ+ person wants to express what family and love mean to them in a love story without explicit or erotic content, will you be able to welcome that person into our spaces with open arms? Probably not. Let's not name everything with what we only know :)

I see this as a quality  issue. Do quality issues exist only in romance genre? No. if there are 100 books, how many books would pass the quality standards? This is the scenario for every genre. How many ilakkiyavadhis write kuppai books? How many English mokkai books get published every single day? Should I go blame everyone around me? How do I know whether my books pass the “quality standards”? It’s an open market. We should learn to navigate ourselves through the existing content and identify what interests us. Without learning that skill, blaming such content creators and readers is similar to asking girls to be inside their homes to not to get harassed.

Laws and guidelines have a huge role to play in this as well. We all talk about censorship and how much is ‘too much". Do we have an inclusive and bias-free censorship system that treats everyone equally? We don’t. Even in films, the movies of big shots come out unscathed, whereas the works of people with little to no influence often shred to pieces. Who you are and your popularity sadly give you the immense power to monopolize the space. There is no clear black and white distinction here.

I strongly believe that it is not our place to prevent people from expressing what they want; their content can be reviewed and judged by existing quality measures as they usually do. But don’t create a taboo or stigma around it, Because it will silence the people who want to express themselves this way. If they write it on platforms that allow that type of content and their readers aware what they are consuming, then I don’t see any problem with it. Yo this trend has always been there! But good books did well and they will continue to be recognized regardless of what other content is present in the market.

Art is difficult to find. athanala than athu art e. kaiyai neettinathum ungaluku kidaikkanumna you don't deserve to enjoy it. Neengalum konjam effort pottu than thedanum.

My job as a writer is not babysitting anyone. My only intention is to question the double standards society has when it comes to content and encourage my readers to think and make up their own minds.

This story for me is one sided or may be thats the intention like you are trying to show how noone can judge a person But is it even possible Everyday we keep judging and then take decisions I would like to say you are a very good writer who always writes stories which has a plot and a message And may be thats why the outpour through this story Sadly writers like you are also penalised because of the many so called family novel writers I have enjoyed reading many novels of yours and has commented on them too But somehow this story didnt work for me Will wait for your next stories

Mele niraiya answer pannitten. Sorry and I hope you will like my next book.

Just because we do, doesn’t mean we should :)

Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts with me. Next time, please don't wait for secret messaging apps :D I won't mind questions like this.

Lots of love,

Ush
